This elderly couple are working on handicrafts.

They are participating in a culture and art program by watching the video on their phone.
The Federation of Korean Cultural Center has organized online programs for the elderly.

"Everyone, both locals and foreigners over the age of 60 can participate in this program."

This year, over two-hundred organizations nationwide are running programs like dancing, photography and arts and crafts.
Materials for the art work are delivered to participant's homes for free and if they have any questions, they can talk with the teacher on social media.

"I felt so frustrated because we cannot go out due to the coronavirus. But thanks to this program, I'm happy every time when we get a packet of materials. And when I'm done with the art work, my daughters take them because they're jealous."

Some of those who learned new skills from these online classes are sharing their talent.
They formed a small group and are making YouTube videos to show people how to make an artsy knot.

"Knot bracelet, leaf keychain and knot wind-bell. We are making a tutorial for these three items this year."

"In an aging society, it's not uncommon to see elderly people learn new skills or try out something that they've never done before. In fact, age is just a number.
